Eneloop Mobile booster エネループ・スティック・ブースター

If you have ever run into a situation, where your gadgets are nearly out of battery and you don't have any chargers with you nor a change to charge in a long time, you may be interested in this. A while ago, I saw Jetdaisuke's videos about "Eneloop" rechargeable batteries, which claim to last for hours. Surprisingly, I found out that they have just updated their "mobile stick booster", which is a pencil-looking charger with two Eneloop batteries inside and usb port on the top. I surfed immeadiately to Amazon JP to look for this product, but it seemed to add up close to 4000円 with all the shipping and Tenso's fees. Pretty hefty price for a student.

Next step was to go on eBay and I couldn't believe my eyes, when I saw that you can get the Mobile booster for $25 including airmail shipping from Japan. I was little curious about the airmail shipping, but then again, I realized Japanese efficiency and it took only one week.

The value of the shipment was marked as only $10 to avoid customs.

Finally to the point, what this Eneloop Mobile Booster actually is?

There you can see the size of it. Batteries included are the newer technology Eneloops, which will give you 90minutes of charging time for Nintendo DSi, iPhone, PSP and other mobile devices. It came with two adapters, micro-usb and "nintendo-ds style usb".

To conclude, I believe that this tiny little charger is easy to carry in a bag, just in case if the battery is running out. It will sure come handy especially, when traveling!
